Stallion Data: This database covers most of
the current/approved FPS breeding Stallions. In some cases we've included
past and withdrawn stallions. There are currently 108 stallions in the
database with a planned addition of another 20 shortly including some
of the greats of all times, including Oege Pref., Reitse
Pref., Wessel Pref., Ritske Pref., Naen, etc. If all goes well, we
hope to include the FPZV stallions in a later release. I hope
you will enjoy the extensive information I am working on
providing. Apologies for those searching a stallion not yet
listed. Information in this site is not official. Please see our disclaimer
for
details.
All Data References: The
stallion data/information references include: the FPS, FPS Event and
Judging Results published in Phryso, Events Covered by
FriesianExchange.com, Stallion Stations and Stallion Owners, Friends and
Partners in Friesland and the US who have covered events in the past and
present. Please read our disclaimer on this
data and all data presented.
Information Updates: I hope there are
not too many outdated bits of information. However, the challenge
with any data is how quickly it changes. Some of the data
supplied was gathered over 6 months ago. However, once this site is
finally launched, my goal is to make statistical and event updates
at least 3 times a year. Please feel free to contact me with
corrections to the mistakes you find that are not related to
possible delays or changes planned for future updates: info@FriesianExchange.com. If
I have not given due credit on any photographs please contact me and I
will make sure to correct the mistake.
Photographs:
I would like
to thank the very talented and supporting photographers who partnered with FriesianExchange
by contributed their work to this site. Without them I would have
few photos of our magnificant stallions. I would also like to thank the stallion owners
and stations that have lent their support
and assistance with photos and their
respective photographers and also for contributing some of their own personal photographs.
So...THANK YOU: Jacob Melissen, Herman P.M.
Zomer, Markus Neuroth, Johan Achterhof, Manfred Link, Hermien
Wierdsma, and all of the other people both professional
and novice who contributed.
